Q:
Can the SkyCaddie give me the distance to the pin?
Answer: According to professional golfers, the distance to the pin is the least important part of what a golfer needs to play a smart shot to the green. The SkyCaddie, using the IntelliGreen graphics found on our professionally recorded SkyCourses, provides more information than just the distance to the pin. Once the line of play is selected on the graphical green outline, it provides the minimum carry to get on the green, the maximum limit you have to the back of the green, plus you can adjust to obtain the third distance of the approximate flag location. All three distances are provided simultaneously from any direction as you approach the green. You can then frame your shot in a much larger target area and select the best club. You will hit more greens and have shorter putts than a single number can provide.

|
Q:
How can I see more than front, center and back of the green on the SkyCaddie?
Answer: You will need to download a 4-star or 3-star professional SkyCourse to your SkyCaddie. These SkyCourses are available through a SkyPlayer Club Membership plan.
|
|
Q:
Can I create my own green outlines (IntelliGreen) using the SkyCaddie?
Answer: No. You can record the front, center, and back of greens using your SkyCaddie, but only our professional enablers can map the outline of the green as seen in the IntelliGreen feature.
|
|
Q:
Can the SkyCaddie track my scores and provide statistics on my round?
Answer: No. The SkyCaddie has been simplified to provide you with important distance information you need to play your best golf.
|
|

Why won’t my SkyCaddie charge?
Answer: If your SkyCaddie does not seem to be charging correctly, you will need to check the charging process as outlined below. If your unit will not come on after charging your unit for several hours, please see "Why won't my SkyCaddie come on?" To check the charging process:
- Turn on your SkyCaddie.
- Select and open a course from the "SkyCourse List".
- Notice the battery strength indicator located on the right hand side. The strength is indicated by a series of bars that appears vertically (similar to a cell phone). A full charge is represented by one thin bar followed by four bold bars.
- Plug the AC wall charger into the charging port located on the right hand side of the SkyCaddie.
- At this point, the "battery" symbol located in the lower right hand corner will change to a "lightning bolt" when the SkyCaddie is accepting the charge.
- If the symbol does not change to a "Lightning Bolt", there may be an issue with the charger or the SkyCaddie itself. In such a case, please contact our technical support.
- If the symbol does change, but the battery still does not seem to hold a charge, you may need to replace the internal battery. Click here for information on replacing the battery. If you are unsure, please contact our technical support.
