Q: Do I need to use the SkyCaddie Desktop?

Answer: Using the SkyCaddie desktop is highly recommended for SkyCaddie users. At the present time the only way to use IE 6 or higher when downloading courses is to have the DESKTOP installed. Otherwise our site will force the customer to the "install software" page.

Q: When I try to order from your website, my card is declined. Why?

Answer: We take credit card security very seriously, and while we do not want to reject a valid card, it sometimes happens with our online anti-fraud system. Usually a credit card is declined for three reasons: 1) the billing information doesn't match what is on file with the card company. 2) the credit limit on the card has been exceeded. 3) The card company has placed an anti-fraud block on your card as a precaution. You may have to contact your card company to see if they can release the block.

Q: How can I report a problem or error on your website?

Answer: Please send an email message to customerservice@skygolf.com if you experience any issues with our website. We want our site to be as efficient and user-friendly as possible. Your help in bringing us toward that goal is greatly appreciated.

Q: Why do you say "Internet Recommended" under SkyGolf requirements?

Answer: Internet access allows you to connect to our website and download SkyCourses and critical software updates to your SkyCaddie. While you can create your own SkyCourses using SkyGolf GPS, you may find it beneficial to have the option of periodically checking our site for courses and updates.

Q: Is it safe to order over the Internet?

Answer: Yes. We take security very seriously. When you order online, your transaction is on a secured connection using what is called "SSL 128-bit encryption". You can tell when a page is secured if you see "https" in the address line, or by checking the webpage's properties by going to "File" > "Properties". Most browsers also have an icon, like a padlock, when the connection is secure.

Q: Does your website store my credit card information?

Answer: We retain encrypted credit card information ONLY if you choose to automatically renew your SkyCaddie membership annually. Otherwise your credit card information is used only to process your order. We use Verisign to authorize the transaction. Credit card security is very important to us at SkyGolf. You can be assured that we use the hight level of encryption should you choose to have us store your credit card information.
