Question: How do I reset my GPS?

Answer: If you continue to have problems acquiring satellites, try resetting the GPS on your SkyCaddie. This can be done using the following procedure:

SG1 and SG2:
  1. Turn on your SkyCaddie and open any course for play.
  2. Press the "Menu" button
  3. Scroll to and select "Advanced"
  4. Select "Yes" to "Use Advanced Menu"
  5. Scroll to and select "GPS"
  6. Scroll to and select "Reset GPS"
  7. Select "Reset" to reset the satellite search.
  8. Finally, take your SkyCaddie outside and let it search for satellites. Since it was reset, it may take up to 15-20 minutes.
SG3 and SG4:
  1. 1. Turn on your SkyCaddie and open any course for play.
  2. 2. Press the "Menu" button
  3. Scroll to and select "Advanced"
  4. Select "Yes" to "Use Advanced Menu"
  5. Scroll to and select "GPS"
  6. Scroll to and select "Reset GPS"
  7. Select "Reset" to reset the satellite search.
  8. Finally, take your SkyCaddie outside and let it search for satellites. Since it was reset, it may take up to 15-20 minutes.
SG5:
  1. Turn on the SkyCaddie and open any course and hole from the SkyCourse List.
  2. Press the MENU button on the lower left hand side to access the MENU options.
  3. Using the directional button, scroll through the Menu options to ADVANCED MENU.
  4. Press SELECT to use the ADVANCED MENU.
  5. Using the directional button, scroll to GPS and press SELECT.
  6. Scroll to RESET and press SELECT.
  7. Press RESET.
  8. Once the device comes on, open up your course for play and stand by while your SkyCaddie acquires satellites. This may take 15-20 minutes.
